All coaches, staff, and parents are invited to join the Dodgers Dreamteam Coaches Training in partnership with Nike! The training will focus on baseball and softball fundamentals, trauma-informed approaches, positive youth development strategies, empathy, and using sport as a vehicle for social change.
Kids are welcome to join – as finding a sitter isn't always the easiest task. Children 7 years old and up must register (for liability reasons) – Thank you for your understanding.
[PART 1]
Coaches will learn from one of the following two workshops:
1) Center for Healing and Justice through Sport (CHJS)
"Nothing Heals Like Sport"
2) Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA)
"Cultural Competency"
[PART 2]
Workshop groups will switch, allowing each coach to experience the other workshop between CHJS and PCA.
