Trauma-Informed Mental Health Skill-Building Training - Greater Garfield Park

This summer, the Center for Healing and Justice through Sport (CHJS) and the Community Safety Coordination Center (CSCC) will equip stakeholders from various Chicago neighborhoods with trauma-informed mental health skills. This training will enhance community support during the summer months when violence rates and compounding stressors typically increase.

Participants will learn strategies to:

• Use Tailored, Evidenced – Based Regulatory Activities
• Navigate Engagement Approaches 
• Address the Impact of Implicit Bias
• Connect to Mental Health Resources
